Promoters having strong vision, sensed the great availability of sugarcane in the region of Shrigonda Tehsil , increasing demand for power and ethanol and inadequate crushing capacity in the region, first established Unit 1.The plants are located in the villages of Shrigonda Taluka, Dist. Ahmednagar, State of Maharashtra, India.
Industry Unit 1
Unit 1 was established in the year 2000 for the manufacture of sugar in Devdaithan village in Shrigonda Taluka. It is one of the foremost companies started in Maharashtra in the private sector after delicensing of sugar industry.Installed capacity of the sugar factory was 1250 TCD which has now been enhanced to 2500 TCD after renovation.
After resounding success of Unit 1, Unit 2 was envisioned with a much higher capacity, state of the art plant to manufacture double refined sulfurless sugar using Defco remelt Phosphotation & Ion Exchange process.
Industry Unit 2
Unit II is an integrated complex with 7500 TCD sugar mill, 1200 MT/day sugar refinery, cogeneration power plant 40 MW (2X 20 MW) and Distillery (60 KLPD R.S./ E.N.A./ Ethanol capacity),at Hiradgaon village, in ShrigondaTaluka. The plant was successfully commissioned in the year 2011.The command area of the Unit 2 sugar mill has excellent irrigation facilities and potential for sustained cane supply to the sugar mill.
Latest technologies for sugar and ethanol manufacture and generation of power have been employed in Unit 2 to ensure optimum efficiency and operating costs for both the products. The Unit 2 plant has been granted ISO 22001 certification by BSI,U.K.The distance of the plant from Pune is about 120 kms and about 75 kms from Ahmednagar.The plant is accessible both from Pune – Solapur and Pune- Ahmednagar highways.
The plants are manned by competent technical/managerial team of highly qualified engineers, agricultural officers and managerial personnel for smooth operation of the captioned projects.
